On the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Thailand–China Diplomatic Relations and the 70th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan
On November 21, 2025, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri paid a respectful visit to the Abbot of Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan and participated in the consecration ceremony of Buddhist art medallions. The ceremony was conducted with great dignity and deep spiritual significance in celebration of two important milestones: the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China, and the 70th anniversary of the discovery of the Golden Buddha, one of the world’s most remarkable treasures of Buddhist art, housed at Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan.
The Buddhist consecration ceremony was held in an atmosphere of peace, faith, and auspiciousness. Senior monks and ecclesiastical clergy jointly conducted the Buddhist rites in full accordance with traditional royal ceremonial practices. The ceremony included the chanting of sacred Buddhist scriptures, meditation and blessing rituals, as well as other sacred rites, to bestow auspicious blessings upon the Buddhist commemorative medallions and the faithful devotees who hold deep faith in Buddhism.
