The Phutthaphisek Consecration Ceremony of Phra Somdej Phaya Yommarat was held as part of the Merit Extension, Advancement, Rank Promotion, and Ubosot Elevation Project of Wat Thiang Phimonmuk. The project created the Phra Somdej Phaya Yommarat “Merit Extension and Advancement, Rank Promotion, and Ubosot Elevation” edition, together with Thao Phaya Yommarat commemorative medals.
The sacred objects were created by the disciples of Pol. Gen. Torsak Sukvimol, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police. A grand Maha Phutthaphisek Consecration Ceremony was held at the Ubosot of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara on 11 May 2023.
Pol. Gen. Torsak Sukvimol, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, presided over the ceremony, while Ajarn Lak Ratchasi conducted the ceremonial invocation rites. The ceremony was attended by many renowned monk masters known for their spiritual knowledge and blessings.
Various editions of Phra Somdej Phaya Yommarat were included in the consecration ceremony, including:
• Phra Somdej Pim Yai made from Bang Khun Phrom sacred materials
• Phra Somdej Sai Dai made from Bang Khun Phrom sacred materials, embedded with the complete Nawa Loha formula bead from Somdej Thongchai Phra Kring, with a Samrit Dech National Emblem on the reverse, blended with the complete Nawa Loha formula casting remnants from Somdej Thongchai Phra Kring
